I have been
researching my own gene pool since 1966, quizzing my grandparents when they were alive, and collecting copies of all old family photographs whenever I could.
I visited record offices all over UK, Southern Germany and Cape Town.
Now I have the task of coordinating my vast collection to share with others on the Internet. Years ago, no one was interested but now the web has made research so much easier and sharing common ancestors much quicker.
I have registered with Genes Reunited and other Genealogical sites.

Family History
Genealogy is another strong interest dating back to my teens.
I hope to include many branches of my family trees which I have researched back to the early fifteenth Century in a few ancestral lines.
I have researched both my own and my husband Robert's family histories.

I have a vast amount of information which will gradually be added to these pages .
The Albright / Albrecht line goes back to 1496 in Rottenberg-ob Der Tauber, Germany
and includes links with
the Swedish Spolander name, who originally moved from Stockholm
to CapeTown, South Africa. Robert has quite an International family tree.
I have also traced Robert's Rishton line back to 1494 in Lancashire.
I endevour to research every ancestoral line I have in my genes!
