Maureen Albright BA, ARPS, DPAGB Maureen grew up in South Wales and moved to teach in England in the 1970s. She attended her first Camera Club in the 1980s and later joined the Royal Photographic Society. After initial success at Camera Club competitions, she entered National and International Salons, Exhibitions and Competitions, where she has gained many acceptances, and awards with her work with Prints, Slides , Projected Images and Audio Visual sequences. She lectures and judges both Nationally and Internationally, as well as organising many local and International Photographic events for the RPS. She gained her LRPS in 1997, followed by the first Digital Associateship of the RPS AV panel in 2002. She has also gained a Distinction of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain. See article published in the Royal Photographic Society Journal Maureen has served in a wide variety of roles on Camera Club committees including President of Swindon Photographic Society and more recently Programme Secretary of Wantage Camera Club. She has served as an RPS Digital Imaging Group Regional Organiser for Wessex since 1997, and now acts in the same role for the South Wales DI Group area. She served many years as on the RPS DI Group Committee and serves at present as elected member of the RPS Advisory Board. Maureen is married to Robert and lives in Wiltshire, England. Other Interests Maureen has produced websites for many groups and organistaions for a number of years. Apart from running her own website, she also produces one specifically as a resource for Audio Visual Photographers http://www.digital-av.co.uk She has in the past produced sites for Swindon Camera Club, initially for its Centenary in 1997, WAVES Audio Visual Group, AV World magazine, The RPS Digital Imaging Group, RPS Western Region, and currently runs sites for RPS Audio Visual Group RPS South Wales Region RPS D.I. Group - Wessex RPS D.I. Group - South Wales Another important interest is Genealogy which Maureen has studied since her early teens. She follows every line of her Gene pool and also those of her husband, Robert. She has managed to trace several lines back to the late thirteenth century. Many of Robert's branches are also International.
